Kirloskar EH/TC range of Vertical, Reciprocating Watercooled Compressors is one of the proven design. These machines are available in Lubricated and Oil free versions. The features like rugged construction, compact in size, Low operational and maintenance cost has made this machine highly reliable for continuous duty round the clock. This resulted in thousands of machines working in the field for last 30-35 years to the entire satisfaction of our valued customers.
   

In view, to fulfill the compressed air requirement round the clock, we have provided user-friendly utilities on the machine itself, viz.
• Hand unloader provided on the compressor for light load starting. This helps to    avoid the jerks on major parts like crankshaft, connecting rod, piston rod etc.    This avoiding wear and tear of important parts consequently, you save on       maintenance cost.
• These machine are driven through "V" belts. Thus, offering an option to run    the machine at different speeds as and when required, for fulfilling your plant's    variable compressed air requirement.
• Provision of Electro-Pneumatic Capacity Control, (as shown in the picture    below) at Customers option, enables operate this machine at part load / full    load in view to achieve operational economy.

Reciprocating Air Cooled Compressors
Kirloskar air cooled compressors are engineered for economy, durability, easy operation and are products of untiring efforts of our research, development and manufacturing expertise.

For the range of compressors illustrated in this brochure we have established efficient and flexible manufacturing facilities.

These compressors are available as Bare, Base Frame mounted or ready to use receiver mounted units.


Construction features
Crankcase : The pressure tight crankcase is of high grade cast iron.
Crankshaft : Thoroughly well balanced crank pins with integral counter weights to ensure balanced and smooth operation.
Cylinders : Precision bored and honed to give desired smooth finish to reduce friction, Wear and tear. Cylinders are separated and detachable from crankcase for cleaning, inspection and servicing.
Piston : They are matched for smooth and vibration free operation. Short piston strokes and low piston speed reduce heat generation and decrease power loss.
Valves : Strip valves open and close quickly which results in high efficiency. Totally maintenance free.
Flywheel cum Fan : Well balanced to ensure vibration free and smooth running of compressors and effective cooling of the cylinders.
